L-band radar map of Sahara, Arabia and partly Gobi deserts. Data are from the PALSAR instrument, onboard the ALOS japanese satellite. The hydrographic network computed from SRTM topography is displayed ontop of radar images. Each map covers a 1 by 1 degree region.
